The work "Hell" may not be complicated in form, but those who know Tinna know that Tinni would never utter this word. So the picture given here of Tinna is actually very different from him. Here it is as if the artist is drawing up the classic dilemma about implants and surfaces, when one is like oneself. Birgir Rafn started making Tinnaverk around 2011. There were mainly two reasons for this, on the one hand the artist's years of interest in Tinna and friends and on the other hand that he wanted to work with well-known fictional material, shape it and give it a new meaning.
